Abstract | In this lecture we will review the rise of quantitative SPECT and its journey from in-house applications to vendor supplied technology. An overview of the current status of quantitative systems and software will be given, including remaining obstacles, before focusing on likely clinical applications that will have the most impact on clinical nuclear medicine.
